Michael Jordan Trash Talk To Jerry Krause: ‘So Those Are Pills You Take To Keep You Short. Or Are Those Diet Pills?’

2 Min Read

One of the many takeaways from the first episodes of ‘The Last Dance” was just how disliked Bulls GM Jerry Krause was at the time.

In the documentary, he as portrayed as a villain who antagonized almost everyone around him. He was seemingly always hungry to take credit for the Bulls’ success and even the team’s President, Jerry Reisendorf, admitted he had a way of alienating people.

Needless to say, there weren’t a lot of kind things said about the guy. Michale Jordan, of course, took things to another level.

On several occasions, he would trash talk to Krause’s face in front of the entire team — often making fun of his height and weight.

MJ is not known to hold back. He isn’t afraid to say what he feels, even at the expense of someone else’s feelings.

Draw whatever conclusions you wish from that, but the way Michael and that Bulls team were able to achieve so much success in spite of their toxic relationship with the front office is impressive.

Of course, in the end, Krause’s firing of head coach Phil Jackson is what eventually ended the dynasty. Jordan retired, Pippen was traded, and the Bulls have not won a Championship since. Looks like Krause got the last laugh in the end.
