The Brooklyn Nets created one of the best teams in the NBA on paper when they paired up the duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving with James Harden. They were expected to hit the ground running for the team.

Unfortunately, the Nets’ Big 3 failed to live up to expectations, and within a season, the trio parted ways. Now, the Nets have a new trio with Mikal Bridges, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Cam Johnson. Speaking of which, the new trio has already played more minutes together than KD, Kyrie, and Harden.

Yes, we are not even kidding about this. Bridges, Dinwiddie, and Johnson have been teammates for less than a season and have already surpassed Durant, Harden, and Irving in the number of minutes together as teammates on the Nets.

Playing just 365 minutes together should be enough for fans to understand how unsuccessful the Nets’ attempt to create a Big 3 was. It will go down as one of the worst superteams in the history of the NBA, without a doubt.

How Many Games Did Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, And James Harden Play Together?

The modern-day NBA is based on the concept of organizations creating superteams. So, although the Nets superteam looked unfair on paper, fans still wanted to see the true potential of the trio.

Unfortunately, that wish was never fulfilled, as the Nets Big 3 played just 16 games together. Sure, they were 13-3 in those games, but it still wasn’t enough for fans.

Had the Nets superteam truly played together and developed great chemistry, they could have wreaked havoc in the NBA. Now, they have gone down in history as one of the biggest failures.

Will fans ever see Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden play together again? Most likely not. But in the NBA, anything can happen, and we can never truly rule out the chances of that happening.
