Montrezl Harrell Agrees To Sign With The Los Angeles Lakers

1 Min Read

Despite whatever shortcomings the LA Clippers had last season, Montrezl Harrell generated significant interest from teams with room to maneuver in free agency.

Unfortunately for many of them, Harrell is now off the table, having reached a deal with the defending NBA Champions.

The reigning Sixth Man of the Year proved his worth playing alongside two superstars, upping the energy off the bench and providing a spark on both ends of the floor. The hope is that he can continue to do the same next season with the Lakers.

After letting Dwight Howard go just a little while ago, it was believed that LA was in the process of bringing in another high-profile big man, and Trez is certainly an upgrade. In a Conference that is only getting tougher, the Harrell signing adds another talented name to the Purple and Gold, only solidifying their status as an NBA elite.
