Mychal Thompson Gives A Message To Warriors Fans: “Next Year This Time Him And Steph Will Be Doing Their Thing… Again.”

2 Min Read

Steph Curry’s 62-point explosion was a nice flashback to the good old days for the Warriors. Just a few years ago, they had one of the best rosters in league history and a fan base that was getting spoiled with success at every turn.

And while it might be a while before the Dubs get anywhere close to that level again, they did get another dose of encouraging news today by Mychal Thompson, whose son, Klay, is still working to return from a torn Achilles tendon.

Klay’s absence has been a huge obstacle for the Warriors, who just can’t seem to make up for his shooting and defensive abilities.

This season, Curry is doing all he can to keep his team afloat. His performance so far has helped them land a 3-3 record in the West. it’s clear he hasn’t lost a beat.

But without his backcourt partner, there’s really only so far this team can go. The question is, when he does return, will he ever be the same player again?

Two major injuries in two years are discouraging, but Mychal and others don’t seem to be having any doubts that the Golden State shooting guard will be doing his thing again soon — and that’s got to count for something.
