NBA Fan Shows A Photoshopped Picture Of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, And LeBron James At The 75th Anniversary Event: “We Were Robbed Of This Moment”

An NBA fan shared an epic image he designed of what Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James talking would have looked like if Kobe had made it to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team event.

  • Kobe Bryant’s tragic passing prevented him from being there for the iconic NBA 75th Anniversary team event in 2022
  • Michael Jordan and LeBron James were both present, and a fan photoshopped Kobe Bryant into a picture of the two of them from that night
  • The picture went viral on social media with the fan pointing out that basketball lovers missed the chance to witness this epic moment

A lot of NBA fans have Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or LeBron James as their GOAT whenever the debate comes up. These three superstars have defined the modern era, and their greatness has been a true treat to watch for fans of the game.

It would have been amazing to see all three together when the NBA hosted a lovely event to honor all the stars that were chosen for the 75th Anniversary Team. LeBron James and Michael Jordan shared some nice moments that night, and now a fan has photoshopped Kobe Bryant into the frame as well.

The fan gave a fitting caption for the post as well, writing, “We were robbed of this moment.”

Michael Jordan and LeBron James have both been pitted against each other in the GOAT conversation, and while the two don’t have a close relationship, there is serious mutual respect.

Kobe Bryant, on the other hand, had great relationships with both. He started his career in the mid-90s when Michael Jordan was at his peak, and then played for over a decade in the league against LeBron James and with him for Team USA.

All three superstars were and are alphas, but seeing them in the same place celebrating everyone’s greatness is something fans deserved to see. It’s a cruel world that the only way we can enjoy this is through some photo editing.

Lakers Coach Phil Handy Described The Three Superstars And Their Roles In The Perfect Way

The constant comparison narrative sees fans of these superstars turn on one another time and again on social media. Robert Horry recently controversially ranked the trio too. But perhaps the best description of all three has come from none other than Lakers’ coach Phil Handy.

“Handy said that Michael Jordan is the godfather, Kobe Bryant is considered the prodigal son while LeBron James is the chosen one,” reported Lakers beat writer Nicole Ganglani. “Said that if all three were going up against each other, he doesn’t know who would win.”

All NBA superstars of today stand on the shoulders of the giants that came before them. Debates about greatness will always be around in sports discourse, but since fans never got to see this moment in real life, this is an ideal opportunity to remember and celebrate the greatness of all three of these legends.
