LeBron James has historically been one of the most durable players in the game of basketball. There is no doubt that he has generally been available for most of his team’s games in his prime, though he has dealt with some injuries in recent years with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Unfortunately, the superstar seems to have gotten injured, and it looks relatively serious. LeBron James reportedly stated that he heard his ankle “pop”, and that is definitely not a good thing.

A lot of NBA fans expressed their concern for LeBron James as a result of the injury, and it is clear that nobody wants to see the superstar hurt. For example, a fan suggested that it might be time for everyone to “cry”.

Some fans sent out prayers for the superstar.

Others were simply shocked and unhappy when reacting to the injury.

A fan suggested that the Lakers need to sit LeBron James for the next two weeks to ensure the injury heals.

One person pointed out that LeBron James has been playing on a bad ankle all season.

Though LeBron James ended up playing on after the injury, there will likely be an injury update later on that reveals the extent of what happened. Hopefully, the forward ends up being alright and misses as little time as possible as a result of this injury.

LeBron James Will Play For The Rest Of The Season Unless He’s Injured

There is no that the Los Angeles Lakers need LeBron James to be able to make it to the playoffs, as the superstar gives them a lot on the offensive end. His availability is key to them being able to win at a high level.

Previously, coach Darvin Ham stated that the Los Angeles Lakers wouldn’t be sitting their players unless those players are injured. This clearly goes for LeBron James as well, and the superstar himself will likely want to play all of those games unless injuries prevent him from doing so. In fact, he called the upcoming regular season games the “most important” games of his career.

This upcoming stretch is extremely important for the Los Angeles Lakers, and perhaps they can bypass the play-in tournament and make the playoffs outright. There is no doubt that they have the talent to get far in the postseason, and we’ll see what ends up happening in the coming weeks before the postseason starts.
