To many, Michael Jordan is the greatest player to ever suit up and play the game of basketball. His competitiveness was unmatched, and his resume and accomplishments speak for themselves.

Despite his greatness, even Michael Jordan has his detractors. One of them is his former teammate Scottie Pippen, who recently called the shooting guard a “horrible player”. Fans weren’t happy with these statements, with one person calling this blasphemy despite being a self-admitted LeBron James fan.

One person joked that Scottie Pippen has been reading the Tweets that talked about how Michael Jordan was 1-9 in the playoffs without him.

There was one fan who stated that Michael Jordan made Scottie Pippen’s entire career.

One person speculated that Scottie Pippen has personal problems.

One fan claimed that Scottie Pippen is the greatest hater of all time.

Some were just shocked that Scottie Pippen would even say something like this.

An account simply classified Pippen’s statement as a “weird take” noting that Jordan made the All-Star team most of his years with the Chicago Bulls.

There’s no doubt that this statement from Scottie Pippen about Michael Jordan was not well-received by the majority of fans. It’s one thing to believe that another player is the GOAT, but it is something else entirely to call an NBA legend a “horrible player”.

Scottie Pippen Also Believes Michael Jordan Used The Last Dance Documentary To Gain Relevance In The Modern Era

This is far from the only recent jab that Scottie Pippen has directed toward Michael Jordan. In fact, he recently claimed that “The Last Dance” was used by Jordan to gain relevance today.

“I didn’t really need the credit, but I felt it was definitely something that was more geared towards Michael and his perspective of how he saw the team, how he saw himself separate from the team,” Pippen said. “I just thought it was really something to hype up his career to make him more relevant in today’s world. …

“(It’s been) pretty much 25 years since we won our last championship, so no one really remembers the Chicago Bulls – especially a lot of the kids that are now coming into the game. They weren’t even watching basketball, they were barely even born. So I felt like that was something he did to sort of bring himself back and really give this modern-day era an opportunity to see what his playing was like in the NBA.”

There is no doubt that Scottie Pippen isn’t a fan of Michael Jordan currently, and it’ll be interesting to see if Jordan ends up responding to these statements from his former teammate.
