NBA Fans Fire Back At Draymond Green After He Said The 2017 Warriors Would Beat Michael Jordan And The 1998 Chicago Bulls: “You Are Very Disrespectful. Warriors Never Won Three-Peat. MJ And Bulls Would Destroy You By 50 Points.”

Draymond Green is someone who has never had any sort of filter when sharing his thoughts about any topic. Nowadays, he uses his podcast to do so, but every now and then, he uses Twitter as well.

He used the latter to voice his opinion about a debate between the 2017 Golden State Warriors and the 1998 Chicago Bulls. Previously, Stephen Curry made a claim about the 2017 Dubs easily defeating the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers.

Now, Green made a similar claim about the 1998 Bulls. Green talked about why it’s dumb to compare eras as he believes the 2017 Warriors would beat the 1998 Bulls by a dub and the 1998 Utah Jazz by 40 points.

Obviously, this is a huge claim since the 1998 Chicago Bulls featured the superstar trio of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. Additionally, the ’98 Bulls’ championship run turned out to be the sixth ring for MJ.

I’m watching the 98 Bulls vs Utah in the Finals… I can’t help but notice our 2017 team would’ve beaten these Bulls by a dub and these Jazz by 40 if they’re going to play these brands of basketball. And that’s why it’s dumb to compare Era’s

More often than not, NBA fans are very protective of what current players say about MJ and the Bulls. Evidently, Green’s tweet wasn’t well-received among fans, and they decided to utterly destroy the Warriors forward.

There nothing you can do with Rodman you can’t rattle him at all he would have you in foul trouble and no way you guarding Pip or MJ who the hell guarding Ron

You’re more limited offensively than Dennis Rodman blindfolded

You literally said people shouldn’t compare eras and then proceeded to do so in your next tweet 🙄

And both teams would have beaten you guys in 5-6 games in the 90's.

They were built for 90's ball, not current nba.
Newsflash, you guys aren't built for 90's nba ball.

As expected, NBA fans didn’t hold back one bit when calling out Draymond for his claims of easily defeating the Bulls and the Jazz.

But as many fans pointed out, this hypothetical comparison’s result will depend on which era the two teams are facing off against each other. If the Warriors play the Bulls in the 90s, the Bulls will obviously have the advantage.

On the other hand, if the match is played in the modern era, then the Warriors will probably have the advantage. But once again, it’s nothing but a hypothetical comparison. People shouldn’t get too worked up about the same.
