Joel Embiid isn’t one to miss out on grooving for a good beat, and he did just that when the Philadelphia 76ers played the Utah Jazz.

The 76ers sneaked away with a 118-117 win with Embiid having a solid 30-point night coupled with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. But the highlight of the evening was when he stood in the middle of the Jazz dancers who were prepping for their routine ahead of the clash.

Embiid was seen grooving with the dancers, and while he was expected to head back to the sidelines, he was seen mid-court having a good time. The fans were thrilled when they saw the big man vibing.

Joel Embiid Is Making His Case For MVP This Season

The center has been enjoying a dominant run this season averaging 33.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. His last five games have him averaging 30.8 points, 10.4 boards, and 4.0 assists.

His scintillating form had former 76ers star Julius Erving backing him to win MVP this season. Per Clutch Points:

“I’m from New York but Philly is my 2nd home so I got to go with Joel [Embiid]… He’s constantly challenging himself—now he’s led the league in scoring. ” Joel Embiid has Julius Erving’s vote in the MVP race. (via @ESPNNBA)

At the time of writing, Embiid has made his way into the NBA’s MVP ladder’s Top 5. The last couple of seasons saw Nikola Jokic win the award, but this might be Embiid’s season if he continues his good run and help Philadelphia go the distance.

The Sixers play the Los Angeles Lakers next, followed by a skirmish against the Los Angeles Clippers.
