There are many parameters that play a vital role in a player’s success in the NBA. One of which is how durable a given player is. If any players in question aren’t fit enough, it doesn’t matter how talented they are, they will always be disregarded from debates about being considered the best players in the NBA.

We have seen that happen with the Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis. When he’s healthy, he is one of the most dominant players in the league. But the fact that he is sidelined for the majority of the regular season has fallen off steeply from the debate of being one of the best big men in the league.

But let’s keep that aside for a minute and talk about the players who have displayed their durability since the 2009-10 NBA season. Any guesses which three players have played the most games since the ’09-10 season? Well, if you guessed DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook, and LeBron James, then you are correct.

As visible in the graphic above, DeRozan has played most games since the ’09-10 NBA season, with 957 games to his name. He’s followed by Russ with 934 games and James with 894 games.

Upon seeing this graphic, many NBA fans shared their thoughts. While some praised DeRozan for his durability, others were surprised at seeing this stat.

dezzys_cards: Curious how many games lebron would be leading by if you included playoffs.

milliondollarrkid: Bron been in the league since 04 tho so he really the most durable.

leonardinho24: Demar so underrated.

yomii007: Kyrie could never ! Ben also had a panic attack watching this .

jonah_g27: That just proves westgoat>>> everyone.

lordcambiel: damn Bron and that ONE injury.

onem2345: Demar – 13 seasons

Russ – 14 seasons
Lebron- 19 seasons
–
For them to have played more with 5 and 6 less seasons means LBJ has been hurt more than I thought. I guess so because he’s only played a full season once.

showntimehighlights_: Demar one of them fr .

superstitchtroll: All that for no rings. Not even one finals appearance ‍♂️.

pg17_ballin: Lol not james harden?

Obviously, DeRozan deserves credit for playing consistently throughout the time span, it was LBJ’s name that shocked most fans.

He has been in the league longer than Russ and DeMar. Still, he has proved his unbelievable longevity once again. Additionally, when we also consider the number of games that James has played during the playoffs, he would certainly lead the list by a huge margin.
