NBA fans had their two cents to share after LeBron James’ distraught expression following the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Charlotte Hornets.
James sat on the floor dejected with a blank expression even as Austin Reaves waited with his hand held out to get the veteran up. He dished out a pass to Dennis Schroder, who had an open 3-point opportunity but clattered the chance, and with that vanished the Lakers’ hopes for pulling out a win.
The loss to the Hornets makes it their third on the trot, and LA now faces the danger of missing out on the postseason for the second season in a row. If the playoffs were today, the side would have fallen out of contention.
The Lakers have been a different and wobbly unit without Anthony Davis, and that makes their looming away stretch even tougher without the big man’s services.
NBA Fans React To LeBron James’ Disappointed Expression: “And He Still Made A Good Pass”
The Lakers’ defeat had fans reacting, and much of the focus was on a disappointed James, whose expression will surely be the next big thing on the meme front.
Social media was flooded with fans complaining about the lack of support for the seasoned campaigner and wholly blamed team owner Jeanie Buss and Rob Pelinka.
Literally, Dennis was wide open with all the time in the world and still clanks
Imagine if it was Buddy Hield or Bogdan Bogdanovic
Honestly I want to see bron request a trade, I can’t stand watching him waste the last few seasons of his legendary career
Dude is wasting his time with us. We need to consider going on a mini rebuild.
I’ll gladly blame Jeanie and Pelinka first and foremost.
That’s a WRAP boys
Please tell me anyone even tried to blame Lebron for this game. That might be the best I’ve seen him look in a while. Completely dominated the 4th. Looked like 2018 Bron there
Lonnie could’ve clutched that open 3. Schroeder is our shooter yet when it matters the most dude bricks. Happened in the playoffs
We must have the worst defensive rating now because I can’t imagine how a team could be worse
It’s such a shame that he has to go through all this chaos in the twilight of his career.
The Lakers are now 13-19 and are still playing catchup. They had earlier stated their intentions to play the kind of basketball that would get them to the .500 mark before the end of the year. With Davis’ injury, they now have a steep climb, and only time will tell if James gets his much-needed support.
