NBA Fans React To The Top 10 Players In 2K22: “How Is Bron A 96 After This Season?”

NBA 2K is the most prominent basketball game on the market and their yearly releases are generally highly anticipated by fans across the world. One of the most exciting things about every 2K release is looking at the new ratings for players across the league. Every year there are plenty of players who are given a boost or a decrease in their ratings. Obviously, 2K ratings aren’t always indicative of a player’s real-life performances.

The game’s Twitter account has recently posted the Top 10 players in 2K. Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Giannis Antetokounmpo were all tied at 96 overall at the top. There is no doubt that the ratings were controversial amongst fans, and many of them reacted to the new ratings.

There is no doubt that the 2K ratings are controversial every season, with many people suggesting that their favorite players deserve a higher ranking. Some Twitter users in the comment section even offered their own lists of 2K ratings as a template for what the ratings should be. Even if some of 2K’s ratings aren’t entirely correct, there’s going to be some bias from everyone when it comes to evaluating 2K’s player ratings and there’s no entirely subjective way to figure them out.

What we have to remember though, is that 2K does end up getting updated throughout the year and that ratings that are wrong are usually fixed throughout the course of the season. Oftentimes, the initial ratings don’t stay the same way for a lot of players. Players improve or get worse over the course of the regular season, and the ratings are obviously adjusted according to a player’s performance.

It remains to be seen how good 2K22 will be, but fans are certainly excited for the release, even if the ratings aren’t to everyone’s liking. Hopefully, it is even better than 2K21, and we’ll see soon enough if it can improve on its predecessor.
