Damian Lillard has preached loyalty for the majority of his NBA career. Throughout his 8-year tenure in the league, he has always played his heart out for the Blazers, never questioning their offseason game plan.
But, according to Ice Cube, Dam DOLLA should consider a move to Los Angeles if he really wants to win a ring. Here’s what he said in an appearance on Stephen A.’s World:
“If he want a Championship, he should join the Lakers. If you wanna score a lot of points and just be the man, stay in Portland. But, come win the Championship. You deserve it.”

Damian Lillard is a bonafide superstar in the NBA, that much is clear. As a premier shooter and talented scorer, he is almost impossible to stop with the ball in his hands.
Unfortunately, his play has not yet led to a Championship, and that is partly due to Portland’s inability to attract free agents.
Over the past few weeks especially, the Blazers have been put on blast for their shortcomings, and Lillard’s future has been cast in doubt since being eliminated in the first round.
Joining the Lakers would definitely give Dame his best chance at a Chip. But, if there’s anything we’ve learned about Lillard over the past few weeks, it’s that he isn’t necessarily keen on taking the easy way out.
