Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai still can’t forget Kyrie Irving’s buzzer-beater against the Toronto Raptors. So much so that he took to Twitter to share his excitement about the guard’s heroics.

Irving’s buzzer-beater helped the Nets edge out the Raptors 116-113. He ended his evening with 32 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists. Also chipping in was Kevin Durant with 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Tsai shared Irving’s feat on Twitter, saying he watched the clip over a hundred times.

This morning I woke up and watched this times

The owner’s happiness is understandable, given how tumultuous the last couple of months have been for the franchise. Earlier, he had tweeted about how he was disappointed with Irving following his controversy, but with this viral tweet, it appears he’s moved on and focusing on the side, having a solid season.

The Brooklyn Nets Have Been Consistent

The victory against the Raptors shows that the Nets have won nine of their last ten games. After talking about his slump, Irving finally seems to have struck form averaging 25.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

The trio also seems to have hit the straps and gelled well, with Durant and Ben Simmons putting up noteworthy performances. However, not all were in awe of the Nets’ consistency. Shannon Sharpe outlined that the team’s wins came only against weaker sides. Speaking on ‘Undisputed,’ he said:

“Pretenders. They’re not beating the Bucks, the Celtics, not sure they can beat the Sixers, healthy Joel Embiid and James Harden, Maxey is going to come back at some point in time.

“Of those eight wins that have come since Nov. 27, only one of those wins have come against a team with a winning record, that was the (Portland) Trail Blazers without Damian Lillard.

However, wins are wins, and Brooklyn will take them all. At the time of writing, they are placed fourth in the East with an 18-12 run. They take on the Detroit Pistons next, followed by a skirmish against the Golden State Warriors.
