The Chicago Bulls are one of the teams speculated to ring in massive changes when the trade window opens.

It’s been a struggle for the side this season as they’re placed 11th in the East with an 11-14 record to further fuel theories of a blockbuster trade in the offing.

NBA Analyst Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report opined that Chicago is one of the teams all franchises will be keeping a close eye on. The analyst quoted an NBA source who said the other teams in the league were monitoring Chicago.

“Everyone is watching Chicago very closely,” one NBA source said. “They’re so poorly constructed, they need to blow it up.”

Pincus also added that Chicago could plan and head into a rebuild by doing away with three of their big stars, DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic.

Chicago could also look to move LaVine (after Jan. 15), who re-signed on a five-year, $215.2 million contract this summer. His name hasn’t buzzed yet on the rumor mill, but Chicago could find willing suitors if it made the two-time All-Star available.

At the moment, much has been said and written about the Bulls heading into a rebuild or even tank, but there have been no concrete developments.

Are The Los Angeles Lakers Frontrunners To Acquire DeMar DeRozan And Nikola Vucevic?

The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the teams constantly linked to the Chicago Bulls. Earlier, analyst Bill Simmons proposed a trade that would send DeRozan and Vucevic to the Lakers in exchange for Russell Westbrook and the two picks.

He also suggested two possible options that would send LaVine to the Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis and one that would send the former to the New York Knicks.

The Lakers need more offense options, and the two players are a perfect fit, even if it means sacrificing the picks. The addition would elevate the side to instant title contenders. However, it must be noted that they do have other options.

Reports of Los Angeles acquiring the services of Derrick Rose did the rounds as well, but with the Lakers and Bulls storyline making headlines every day, there just might be a chance this may come to fruition.
