Stephen Curry’s career in the NBA has been full of winning accolades. The 34-year-old recently won the fourth NBA Championship of his career and got himself into the debate of being regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

While winning the fourth NBA title of his career, Stephen Curry also added the only missing trophy to his cabinet, the NBA Finals MVP trophy. For several years, Curry was blasted by fans for not winning one, but Steph finally destroyed that narrative against himself.

But there was another trophy that was missing from Curry’s trophy cabinet, and it was something that he had already won back in the 2017-18 NBA season.

Stephen Curry Gets His Hand Back On His 2017-18 Free Throw Percentage Trophy

Curry has always been a great free-throw shooter in his career. The greatest 3-point shooter of all time rarely misses from the charity stripe and, as a result, is always among the top makers from the foul line.

That was the case again in the 2017-18 NBA season when Steph led the league in FT% for the fourth time in his career. However, Curry never got his hands on the trophy as it was reported missing. Thanks to a super-collector, after more than four years, Curry has been reunited with the trophy.

I was doing a card deal here locally and got a lead on @StephenCurry30’s lost trophy from his 17-18 free throw percentage champ! I tracked it down and with the help of some of my best friend in the hobby and just genuinely great people we got it back to Steph last night! So happy pic.twitter.com/Rj7DfPuolt

Curry certainly appreciated the fan’s efforts and thanked him for his efforts by tweeting a kind response.

Appreciate the help getting the hardware back 🙌🏽

It’s great to see Curry appreciate the help from the fan. But one may wonder how Curry even lost the trophy in the first place. Well, that’s something that only the 4x NBA champion can explain.
