Snyder, who coached the Utah Jazz for eight seasons, is widely revered for his coaching ability, leadership qualities, and his history of getting star players to buy into his system. He helped lead the Jazz to one of their most prosperous stretches in franchise history and only left after they committed to a hard rebuild.
In Atlanta, Snyder will bring the same things he did in Utah, and there is hope he will find new and exciting ways to utilize Trae Young, John Collins, and Dejounte Murray in ways we’ve never seen before.

At 29-30, the Hawks are very much in the thick of the playoff race out East. Just a few games back from the 6th-seeded Knicks, they have time to rise up the standings before it’s all said and done.
