Jae Crowder to the Nets would solve their rebounding woes.

The Brooklyn Nets are the latest team linked with Phoenix Suns’ Jae Crowder. The veteran is one of the names sought after by multiple franchises, and now the Nets are the latest to join the list.

Crowder is yet to suit up for the Suns this season, and while his lack of game time might be a bit of a concern, his defensive prowess and experience make him a valuable addition to any of the sides he eventually inks a deal with.

Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley believes Brooklyn is one of the teams likely to make a beeline for Crowder.

The analyst had added the Suns’ star, along with John Collins and Mo Bamba, as the three trade options for the Nets when the trade window opened up.

They have nothing behind Nic Claxton at center—Day’Ron Sharpe isn’t a rotation regular—and the forward spots could use someone such as Crowder, who would supply defense, toughness, experience and some degree of shot-making.

From the Nets’ perspective, rebounding has been an issue so far this season, despite their stellar run, and Crowder would help on that front.

The Milwaukee Bucks And Miami Heat Are Some Of The Teams Keen To Acquire Jae Crowder

Crowder has been on the radar of most of the major teams who have been pegged as playoff contenders. His 3-and-D wing contribution makes him a hot property. At the time of writing, there is no concrete development.

Earlier, Hoops Wire’s Sam Amico reported that the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat were two of the franchises keen to add Crowder to their ranks.

“The Suns are continuing to explore potential Jae Crowder trades, with the Bucks, Heat, [Golden State] Warriors and others among those interested, sources told Hoops Wire,” wrote Sam Amico. “The Bucks and Heat are viewed as the frontrunners for the veteran small forward, as the Suns would be hesitant to send him to a Western team, particularly a West contender sources said.

The 32-year-old has also been linked to the Charlotte Hornets, the Washington Wizards, and the New York Knicks. Only time will tell where his final landing spot will be.
