NBA Fans React To A 4-Team Blockbuster Trade Where LeBron James Will Go To The Warriors And Damian Lillard To The Lakers: “It Is A Win-Win Trade For Every Team”

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have missed the playoffs for the second time in James’ tenure with the team. Although he led the team to a title back in 2020, it is very surprising not to see LeBron in the playoffs.

With the regular season over, and James reportedly unlikely to sign a new contract with the Lakers, it has led to many rumors coming into existence out of the blue. One is that James could either leave the franchise after next season or he might even request a trade if the Lakers continue to underperform.

Moreover, LeBron recently mentioned that he would like to share the court with Stephen Curry in today’s game. The Golden State Warriors superstar might have hilariously rejected teaming up with James, but it didn’t stop fans from creating potentially trade ideas that could bring the two superstars on the same.

Recently, Instagram page, “mocktrades” proposed a blockbuster 4-team trade that could bring the rumor about Curry and James joining forces into existence.

According to the IG post, the Warriors will receive LeBron James, the Lakers will receive Damian Lillard, OKC will receive Andrew Wiggins, and the Trail Blazers will receive Russell Westbrook, Jonathan Kuminga, 2022 First Round Pick (OKC).

The chances of this trade happening are very low, to be honest. But when NBA fans saw this, they couldn’t stop themselves from reacting to it. Here are some of the best comments on the IG post:

tylerbauman_athlete: “Why would Portland do this.”

yeahrell: “The only winner in this trade would be the Lakers “

gerrit.jhn: “Very Nice Trade tbh.”

leaguerumors: “All teams win in this deal tbh.”

bigmike0593: “Probably the most realistic trade you made good job.”

cmoney_the_rapper: “Wiggins shae and giddy would be an underrated 3.”

yg_stoney: “Potential starting lineup looks scary for the Warriors .”

nicholas.pellegrino: “This trade actually makes sense lol.”

d.still36: “Portland needs another pick or 2 then they good.”

will_the6th: “Portland would have won this trade if we still had CJ. Now, I’ll stick with the rebuild they are planning.”

joey_barrett4: “OKC trades a top 6 pick for Andrew Wiggins is just one example why this trade is dumb.”

chiefkeeeith: “We can’t do this. We gotta see a matchup against each other again. Don’t wanna see them be teammates.”

When it comes to trade rumors, the NBA community can get a tad bit crazy at times. But this time around most fans believe that this trade idea is actually decent.

If there is a team losing in this trade, it is probably the Trail Blazers. Apart from that, the rest of the teams wouldn’t complain much about this potentially 4-team blockbuster trade.
