LeBron James has solidified his place in the annals of NBA history yet again, becoming the all-time leader in games with 10 or more points during the Los Angeles Lakers‘ matchup against the Sacramento Kings. This remarkable milestone reflects his unmatched consistency and durability over two decades in the league.

1. LeBron James – 1,510 games

2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – 1,509 games

3. Karl Malone – 1,441 games

4. Dirk Nowitzki – 1,373 games

5. Kevin Garnett – 1,260 games

6. Tim Duncan – 1,256 games

7. Kobe Bryant – 1,254 games

8. Reggie Miller – 1,195 games

9. Robert Parish – 1,178 games

10. John Havlicek – 1,178 games

With 1,510 games scoring in double digits, LeBron surpassed the previous record-holder Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who achieved this feat in 1,509 games during his legendary career.

The list of players trailing behind LeBron includes Karl Malone (1,441 games), Dirk Nowitzki (1,373 games), and Kevin Garnett (1,260 games). These figures illustrate the longevity and dominance required to reach such heights, but LeBron’s achievement stands out due to his ability to maintain elite performance in a faster, more physically demanding modern NBA.

This milestone is just one of many records that LeBron has accumulated. His streak of consecutive double-digit scoring games, currently at 1,246 and ongoing since 2007, is a testament to his consistency. The streak has seen him score at least 10 points in every regular season game for nearly 17 years, setting a standard of reliability that few in any sport can match.

Earlier in the previous game against the Kings, LeBron added another accolade by becoming the NBA’s all-time leader in minutes played, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar once again. These accomplishments only add to his legacy as the league’s all-time leading scorer, a title he secured over two seasons ago when he passed Kareem’s record of 38,387 career points. LeBron now has over 41,000 points, extending his lead atop the scoring charts.

LeBron’s longevity and ability to adapt his game have been key to these achievements. Despite being in his 22nd season, he continues to deliver stellar performances for the Lakers, often defying expectations for a player his age. His skill set has evolved over the years, allowing him to remain a force on the court, whether through scoring, playmaking, or leadership.

This record also underscores LeBron’s commitment to excellence. From his rookie year to now, his preparation, physical conditioning, and basketball IQ have set him apart. Few players in NBA history have combined talent with durability and consistency as effectively as LeBron, making him a once-in-a-generation talent.

The accomplishment also serves as a reminder of the larger legacy LeBron is building. From being the league’s scoring leader to redefining expectations for player longevity, his career continues to add chapters to an already storied journey. At nearly 40 years of age, LeBron’s focus remains on winning another championship with the Lakers, but milestones like these highlight the incredible breadth and depth of his impact on the game.

As fans and analysts alike marvel at LeBron’s achievements, one thing is clear: his influence on basketball will be felt long after he retires. With records continuing to fall, LeBron James remains a living legend, constantly rewriting the history books with every game he plays.
