Despite ongoing exit rumors fueling speculation about his future with the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo took time out to engage with fans in a rare and candid Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter).

While uncertainty continues to swirl around his long-term status with the franchise following Milwaukee’s third straight early playoff exit, the two-time MVP reminded fans of his down-to-earth personality and passion for the game by answering a wide range of questions.

From food preferences to his personal heroes, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar didn’t hold back. But what truly stole the show was when he revealed his All-Time NBA Starting Five, a dream team of legends that reflect both his appreciation for skill and his deep respect for greatness.

When asked to name his all-time starting five, Giannis didn’t hesitate. His picks:

PG – Stephen Curry

SG – Michael Jordan

SF – Kobe Bryant

PF – Kevin Durant

C – LeBron James

That lineup alone speaks volumes about Giannis’ understanding of the game and who he values most from basketball history. Each player he named is not only an all-time great, but also an iconic scorer, leader, and cultural figure who defined multiple eras of basketball.

Curry at the point provides historic shooting and gravity. Jordan and Kobe at the two and three are perhaps the fiercest competitors the game has ever seen. Durant at the four offers unmatched offensive versatility, and LeBron rounds out the five with his playmaking and all-around greatness.

Interestingly, Giannis left himself off the list, showing a mix of humility and reverence for the legends who came before him. It also underlines how Giannis views greatness not solely in stats or accolades, but in overall impact and legacy.

When another fan asked him to name the greatest point guard of all time, the two-time MVP couldn’t choose just one. Instead, he offered a three-way tie: Magic Johnson, Stephen Curry, and Isiah Thomas.

That answer sparked a wave of replies, with fans debating who truly belongs at the top. Magic’s floor vision, Curry’s shooting revolution, and Isiah’s grit and leadership make them three very different candidates, and Giannis’ response showed he respects the variety of greatness across different generations.

Giannis didn’t stop there. When asked about the greatest shooter of all time, he gave a nod to two familiar names: Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard. The former is a no-brainer, often credited with redefining basketball’s offensive philosophy.

But giving Damian Lillard the co-sign speaks volumes about Giannis’ admiration for his current Bucks teammate.

Throughout the session, Giannis’ personality shone through. He joked with fans, gave thoughtful responses, and showcased the same blend of competitiveness and joy that’s made him one of the most beloved stars in the NBA. In an era where social media is often filled with noise, Giannis’ Q&A was refreshingly genuine and fun.

Whether he stays in Milwaukee or explores new options, Giannis proved that even during times of uncertainty, he’s still grounded and present, willing to have fun with fans and share his love for the game.
