The NBA lost an icon in Kobe Bryant 2 years ago, when he tragically passed away along with his daughter Gianna and 7 others in a helicopter crash in California. Kobe was an inspiration to several of today’s athletes and NBA fans worldwide, thanks to his tenacious mentality and single-minded focus on winning.

Kobe Bryant was a 5-time NBA champion and 18-time NBA All-Star, but his greatest legacy remains in the words of wisdom he imparted for those that followed him. Kobe had a stellar career and similarly glamorous life, but through all of it, his work ethic and his passion for everything he did is what really stood out.
