  • Jalen Green was spotted with former “Basketball Wives” star Draya Michele
  • Michele has previously dated Chris Brown and was engaged to former NFL player Orlando Scandrick
  • It is unclear whether Green and Michele are in a relationship just yet

Jalen Green was making some waves on the court as part of the US Select Team at training camp for the FIBA World Cup, and he is now making them off the court as well.

The 21-year-old Rockets star was recently spotted with 38-year-old model and fashion designer Draya Michele, who had previously starred in “Basketball Wives.”

There is no clarity on whether these two are actually dating or not just yet.

Michele had risen to prominence as Chris Brown’s girlfriend back in 2011, but their relationship didn’t last for more than a year. She then got engaged to NFL player Orlando Scandrick in 2015, but they called it off in 2019.

As for Green, he and model Breah Hicks had gone public with their relationship back in 2021 before he was drafted by the Houston Rockets. Rumors have circulated that the two broke up earlier this year, which adds credence to the notion that Green and Michele are dating.

What has caused a bit of controversy here is the age gap between the two. Michele’s eldest son, Kniko Howard, is already in college too and is in about the same age group as Green. All this negative coverage could be for naught, of course, if it turns out these two are just friends who were hanging out for a bit.

Jalen Green And The Rockets Could Make Some Noise Next Season

Getting back to basketball, Green had a pretty good sophomore season. The second overall pick from the 2021 Draft averaged 22.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game in the 2022-23 campaign.

He wasn’t able to lead the Rockets to a lot of wins, though, as they finished with a 22-60 record. Some reinforcements are fortunately on their way for next season, as the Rockets have acquired Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks.

Green seems particularly excited about the VanVleet signing as he believes a veteran point guard like him would help their team. You’d expect the Rockets to be better next season, and if their young stars like Green and Jabari Smith Jr. continue to progress, they could really make some noise in the Western Conference.
