Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Clippers are ready to start a new chapter in the 2022-23 NBA career. After a tumultuous exit from the Los Angeles Lakers, Russ decided to stay in LA, but this time with the other team, joining the Los Angeles Clippers, picking them over other teams like the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat.
Russ has shown his excitement to be a part of this team, being all smiles while talking about his new squad and what’s next for him in the league. The Clippers are also very excited about this, and Tyronn Lue already said he expects Westbrook to be himself and help the team compete in a stacked Western Conference.
This could start as soon as this Friday, as Westbrook is expected to make his official debut with the Clips tomorrow.

The next couple of days will be very exciting for the NBA, as a couple of players will start their new journey with their new teams. Added to Westbrook, his former teammate Kevin Durant will return to the court next week to make his debut with the Phoenix Suns.
Russell Westbrook Keeps Taking Jabs At Los Angeles Lakers
While Brodie sounds really happy to be on the Clippers, the player keeps recalling his time on the Lakers and recently threw shade at his old team and its fans. He tried to be good for the Lakers, but things simply didn’t work for them. Now, Brodie is ready to move on and try to win with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George hope to see the best that Westbrook can offer as they keep trying to win the first-ever championship in Clippers history. If Westbrook manages to get things going, he’ll be a terrific addition to the Clips. If not, then they’ll waste another season.
This is a big question for the rest of the campaign, and we have to wait until this Friday to start seeing what Westbrook brings to the table.
