Ryen Russillo Claims Kyle Lowry Is Letting Everybody Know He’s Getting Traded By The Raptors

Kyle Lowry’s tenure with the Toronto Raptors looks closer to its ending than ever. The point guard’s contract is expiring this season and the Canadian team wants to get as much as they can from the player, according to reports.

Recently, he sold his house in Toronto for $5.12 million, fueling the rumors that he’s gone from the team. That could have something to do with the COVID-19 pandemic but more fans are convinced the 2019 NBA champion is out after spending the last 9 years with the franchise. The Philadelphia native appears to be ready to leave the Raptors and according to recent reports, he’s letting people know he’s out of there this season.

Ryen Russillo recently joined ‘The Bill Simmons Podcast‘, where he talked about a series of topics, including trade deadline predictions. He revealed that Lowry is telling people that he’s out of Toronto, which is playing in Tampa Bay this season (1:13:00 mark).

“The word on that is that Lowry has been telling everybody for a month that he’s getting traded, which is interesting that he’s already like ‘yeah, I’m out of here.’ So I don’t know if that’s him saying it, I don’t know if that’s some understanding that he has with the front office, I don’t know that part of it but whenever you ask about Lowry, he thinks he’s leaving. I think they should trade him, by the way.”

Lowry is widely considered the greatest Raptor of all time but even the good things come to an end. They are planning to continue their project without their captain and the player seems to be ready to start a new chapter in the league. Teams like Clippers, Sixers, and Heat have been linked with him but nothing is certain now.

Knowing his quality and how well he played with the Canadian team, he won’t miss suitors in the next couple of weeks. This man can be a great addition to any contender and this saga is just starting.
