Stephen Curry keeps making history this season, showing why he is one of the most influential players the NBA has ever seen. The Golden State Warriors superstar is on a mission this campaign, leading his squad to a 14-2 league-best record.
The shooter is playing at an MVP level, taking his game to new dimensions, demonstrating he’s looking for revenge after two complex seasons at the Bay. In the offseason, Curry focused on improving his shooting, counting non-swish shots as missed ones, which set the alarms for the rest of the league.
The first month of the season is gone and the Warriors are thriving. Curry is putting up a show every night and everybody is in awe of him. Recently, Shaquille O’Neal called him the greatest shooter of all time, claiming he’ll sit alone as the GOAT after surpassing both Ray Allen and Reggie Miller.
“You can’t even put him in one of the best like because of Steph now Reggie and Ray those guys go down to one of the best shooters, Steph is up there all by himself as the best shooter ever,” O’Neal said on his ‘The Big Podcast’ show.
Curry changed the game with his shooting talents. The league started favoring the 3-point shots after he and Klay Thompson took the competition by storm, leading the Warriors to win championships in the 2010s.
Steph already left his mark on the game and he’s now increasing his legend in the association. Shaq was one of his first doubters, but the former Davidson standout proved him wrong. He keeps doing that every night, destroying rivals and earning a lot of respect even in away arenas.
The point guard is on a mission this season and watching him play is just great. It’s hard to disagree with Shaq; Steph will have his own category regarding the greatest shooter of all time.
