“What’d you get?” O’Neal asked his son Shaqir in ‘Shaq’ Season 2. The latter replied that he had Lemon Pepper Chicken. Shaq asked for it and when his son told him to just eat the whole thing, he replied, “No, tax bite. As the King of the family, you gotta make sure you get a cut.”
Over the years, the decorated NBA champion has spoken about he intends to keep his children aware of how they need to climb the rungs of success on their own. His fame and fortune were the results of his hard work and commitment on the basketball court, and he has maintained that his kids will need to have the same qualities to get to where they want to be.
