Skip Bayless doesn’t miss a chance to diss LeBron James and now that Kevin Durant is returning to the league, the sports analyst has jumped on the KD-LeBron hype, picking his favorite player between the two stars and explaining why one is better than the other. As expected, he picked Durant over LeBron, reminding everybody that he has had the same mindset for the last three years.
Durantula won two titles in the last three years and if it wasn’t for his Achilles injury, he would have won three straight in the eyes of many fans. Now that LeBron has won the title, the pressure is on KD and his Nets to demonstrate they can win. That shouldn’t be a problem for KD, according to Bayless, who claimed that nobody is better than Durant and he’s done the same thing for the past three years.
During a recent edition of FS1’s Undisputed, he debated Shannon Sharpe about Durant being the best player in the league.
“I’ve told you for 3 years that Kevin Durant is the best player on the planet and I will stand by that unless you show me he’s lost quickness. LeBron never dreamed of shooting the ball the way this man can from intermediate and distance.”

LeBron has improved his 3-point shot in recent years and he’s not afraid of shooting the ball from any spot on the court. However, he’s not known for being a scorer. Yes, he’s one of the five best scorers in the history of the league but he’s a pass-first guy.
It’s crazy to think he’s jealous of KD for his shooting since LeBron can do a great job from deep, too. It seems like Bayless is running out of arguments to attack LeBron and if Kevin Durant doesn’t win the title this season, it’ll be interesting to say what he will say next.
