Stephen Curry has led the Golden State Warriors to the NBA Finals once again this year, and there’s no doubt that his run to the Finals has been impressive. He no longer has Kevin Durant on his team, and there is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors need every bit of offense that they can get from him.

When speaking to the media recently, Stephen Curry admitted that this version of the Golden State Warriors needs him to be consistently aggressive offensively. The Golden State Warriors have some solid offensive players besides Stephen Curry on their team, but none that can consistently give All-Star level offensive production for an entire series.

“I think it’s different just cause of the way the roster’s constructed… I think this year, there’s definitely a need for me to be aggressive throughout the game, to create, draw attention, get shots up and just continue to apply pressure. Obviously, these first two games, it’s gone well. I don’t know what it will look like on the road. The rest of the series, it’s just always about being confident with the ball in my hands to make plays.”

There is no doubt that Stephen Curry is one of the best offensive players in the league, and it is clear that an offense centered around him can get the Golden State Warriors to the Finals. He will definitely need some of his teammates to step up next to him in the Finals though, as no player wins by themselves at the highest level. Hopefully, we see one of Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson, or Jordan Poole answer the call.

The series between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics is tied 1-1, and we’ll see who ends up taking the lead in the series after Game 3. Perhaps we see Stephen Curry lead his Warriors to victory once again, and he’s certainly been on a tear during the first two games.
