The Draymond Green suspension has sparked a series of debates around the league, with many people defending the Golden State Warriors big man and others attacking him for his actions against Domantas Sabonis.

Steve Kerr is always riding with Green and recently went above and beyond to defend Draymond, even admitting that his dirty plays have helped the Warriors win titles.

“I’ve said many times we don’t have a single championship without Draymond Green. That’s the truth. He’s crossed the line over the years, and that’s part of it, you know. We will go to bat for Draymond, and go to battle with him every day of the week.”

This is a big shock for everybody since Kerr has been the first the criticize other players when they cross the line. Last season, he went off on Dillon Brooks, saying he ‘broke the code’ during the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors series.

Many fans slammed the head coach for that statement, knowing that Draymond has been involved in more controversial moments. This season, the situation isn’t different, and Kerr is now under fire for his statement.

Draymond Green Was Suspended For Being A Repeat Offender In The League

The NBA announced the suspension of Draymond Green for tonight’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings after the big man stomped on Domantas Sabonis’ chest. While many didn’t think the action wasn’t worthy of a suspension, the NBA executive vice president Joe Dumars cited Draymond’s history with these plays as the reason why the league made this decision.

Now, this is a big issue for the Warriors, who need a win desperately. They’ve never been 0-3 down during this era, and losing three in a row against the Kings would be deadly for them. Without Green, the job looks harder, but Kerr and co. are confident they can pull off a big win. This game can define the future of the Warriors and Green, who could be living his last days in the Bay Area
