There is no doubt that the GOAT debate is an everlasting topic of discussion among NBA fans. While most people believe that Michael Jordan holds that honor, there are some other names in the debate, such as LeBron James and Kobe Bryant

Many people have strong feelings when it comes to discussing the GOATs, and that is the same for Terance Mann. In fact, he recently revealed that he used to “get mad” when people would say LeBron James is better than Kobe Bryant.

“I used to get mad when people were like, ‘LeBron is better [than Kobe]’… He was just one of my favorite players to watch since I liked the Lakers growing up.”

Though most people agree at this point that LeBron James has surpassed Kobe Bryant from a career standpoint, there is no doubt that Kobe Bryant was an all-time great. There are definitely some who believe Kobe Bryant is greater than LeBron James, as Robert Horry recently ranked Kobe Bryant at No. 2 in the GOAT rankings, with LeBron James as No. 3.

Throughout his career, Kobe Bryant averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. He is one of the best shooting guards in history, and his legacy is set in stone.

Dwight Howard Once Revealed LeBron James And Kobe Bryant Have Different Leadership Styles

There is no doubt that LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have absolutely different approaches to leadership. In fact, Dwight Howard once explained the difference between the two as locker room leaders.

“LeBron’s almost at like somebody from the south side of Georgia. We actin’ kind of like twins. Joking, (being) silly, having a good time. We get on the court, we still gonna have a good time, but we’re gonna dominate. Kobe, he not bulls***ing with nobody. He might not come to the locker room to talk, so he’s just gonna walk all the way past us.”

Different leadership approaches work on different groups of players, and there is no right or wrong way to approach that in the locker room. Ultimately, both LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are legends in the game, and it is clear that they were doing something right to reach the heights that they did.
