The Los Angeles Clippers are owned by Steve Ballmer, and there’s no doubt that he has contributed a lot of money to make them a competitive team and make sure the players have all the resources necessary.

While they are currently sharing an arena with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers will soon have their own arena, titled the Intuit Dome. According to Shane Young of Forbes, the arena will feature a “state of the art scoreboard and video screen”, which will be called the “Halo Board”. Young mentions that it will be “basketball’s largest and most impressive LED to date”.

After breaking ground on a brand new arena in September 2021, the Los Angeles Clippers have unveiled more details regarding their state-of-the-art scoreboard and video screen.

The Intuit Dome, which is scheduled to open in Inglewood at the start of the 2024-25 NBA season, will feature basketball’s largest and most impressive LED display to date.

Inside the Clippers’ new $2 billion facility will be the Halo Board, stretching nearly an acre and surrounding 18,000 fans with a 4K view of replays, individual stats, quarter breakdowns, and advanced metrics.

It will be the latest innovation of Daktronics, an American LED display designer that’s becoming a household name in the world of sports technology.

There is no doubt that this feature in the Intuit Dome arena will make the fan experience in the arena amazing. Having individual stats and advanced metrics could help fans get more intriguing information on players, as well as help them develop their knowledge of the sport of basketball.

The Los Angeles Clippers should be contenders next season, with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George at the helm of their deep and experienced team. Kawhi Leonard managed to win a championship with the Toronto Raptors during the 2019 season as the lead superstar, so perhaps we’ll see him do so again with the Los Angeles Clippers.
