• James Harden is loving the hospitality in China
• He appeared on a popular Chinese streamer’s live broadcast and saw 10,000 Harden Wine bottles be sold
• The total number went up to 13,000, marking a successful day at the office
Fans of the NBA are waiting with bated breath to see what ends up happening with James Harden after his recent controversial comments against Daryl Morey to get himself traded away from the 76ers. He’s still maximizing his trip to China, where he sold almost 13,000 bottles of Harden Wine bottles.
Harden first sold 10,000 bottles in about five seconds before selling 3,000 bottles more just as rapidly.
i’m sorry it’s 3,000 bottles. they did 10k here and added 3k more after it sold out in 5 secs pic.twitter.com/HXNFC8ajMW

Harden launched the “J-Harden Wines” brand in 2022, to ‘bring excitement to the industry and turn some heads’. The wine company offers alcohol like Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc, and other red wine bottles.
Given how unpopular Daryl Morey is in China, it’s no surprise Chinese fans openly spent money to buy Harden’s wine and support the man that openly criticized the GM, who has previously been harsh on the Chinese government. Most players are supporting Harden in this situation.
James Harden Did A Cartwheel Out Of Happiness

From everything Harden has been doing in China during this Adidas tour, it is clear that the 76ers guard enjoys a massive fan following in the country. His wine moving so many units is proof of that.
This isn’t a surprise, as the Houston Rockets have long been the most popular team in China and Harden dominated while playing nearly a decade for the Rockets. Harden averaged 29.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 7.7 assists while playing for the Rockets and became the 2018 league MVP, but he could never overcome the Warriors to lead his Houston squad to the Finals.
It’s been nearly three years since he left Houston, but his popularity in China continues to grow. Hopefully, whichever team he plays for next can enjoy greater popularity in the biggest basketball-watching nation in the world.
