Trae Young had a big gesture with Janet Jackson after the Atlanta Hawks forced Game 6 in their first-round series against the Boston Celtics.
State Farm Arena booked Jackson’s concert the same night the Hawks will host the Celtics and decided to move the show to Friday, leaving the door open for the basketball team.
Trae learned about the news and came up with an invitation to Janet.
” ..sorry not sorry to this LEGEND.. Hope she can be at the game now! ,” the point guard wrote on Twitter.

It’s unclear if Jackson wants to attend a sports event after her blunder in the 2004 Super Bowl. However, this time she won’t be the main star since that role belongs to Young, the leader and best player of the Hawks.
After a tumultuous regular season, the Hawks made it to the playoffs as the 7th seed and now are about the tie the series with three wins per team if they get Game 6. Quin Snyder deserves a lot of credit for helping Young and co.
Trae Young Led Hawks To A Big Win Over Celtics In Game 5
Young has been on a different level against the Greens, even making the game-winning shot to force another game. Even with ‘overrated’ chants, facing a well-rounded Celtics, and being involved in trade rumors, Young has remained confident in his talents.
The Hawks could pull off a big upset, like the Miami Heat are about to do with the Milwaukee Bucks, with Young going off on his rivals. The controversial player time and time again proves doubters wrong, and this series isn’t the exception.
Hopefully, Hawks fans can see a show by Young tomorrow and then watch Jackson do her thing on Friday. This would be a huge upset this postseason, and the fanbase is ready to see its team get the win and force a win-or-die situation against the reigning Eastern Conference champions.
