Bronny James arrived, played hard, and conquered the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit. LeBron James’ eldest son didn’t have a terrific game on offense but did the little things that helped his team win.

After Team USA’s 90-84 win over Team World, Bronny sent a message to NBA scouts, making it clear he’s ready to take his game to the next level.

“I just want to show them [NBA scouts] that I can play and I belong here,” James said, via Yahoo Sports. “A lot of people don’t think I should be here, and I’m just here to prove that I do belong [with this group].”

Bronny has been making a lot of noise recently and drawing a lot of attention. He’s now considered a top-10 pick for the 2024 NBA Draft, but James believes he still has things to prove.

With the James family and Draymond Green in attendance, Bronny showed a decent level, first struggling to make shots but then leveling up, scoring 7 of his 11 points in the final quarter of the game.

Bronny James Had A Great Game At Nike Hoop Summit

He didn’t have the best game, offensively speaking, but Bronny did the job on defense. He also made the shots at the right time, which helped his squad take the win. Bronny keeps taking steps to go pro, and it’s a matter of time before we see him playing in the association.

The 18-year-old has a big decision to make, as he has plenty of schools interested in his services. He’s reportedly picking between Oregon, USC, and Ohio State, so the next couple of months will be crucial for Bronny.

Meanwhile, he keeps showcasing his talents, trying to improve his position in next year’s draft. This could be a problem for him and his father, as LeBron would prefer to play on a contender than a rebuilding team.
