Anthony Davis led the way with 37 points and 14 rebounds as the Lakers got to .500 for the first time this season. Four other Lakers scored in double figures as well, with Dennis Schroder registering 21 points and 6 assists as they won 116-111.
They also got this win despite D’Angelo Russell being unavailable and the team deserves a lot of credit for finding ways to win despite missing some key players. They are now 10-5 since the All-Star break and are in with a great chance at perhaps even securing that sixth seed.

They’ll need different individuals to keep stepping up, as there is still some uncertainty on just when LeBron will return. Up next for the Lakers are two games against the Chicago Bulls, which will see them take on Patrick Beverley. The ex-Laker had stated after joining the Bulls that he wanted to knock his former team out of the playoffs and you can be sure he is going to try his hardest to do that.
