When it comes to playing basketball at an elite level, there aren’t many that come close to the level of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. During his time in the NBA, Steph has earned a lot of respect from the media and fans for his impressive performances over the years.

Curry is considered one of the GOATs for the Golden State Warriors. But today, we aren’t here to talk about his NBA career. Instead, let’s focus on Stephen Curry‘s life off the court.

Even though Steph will always cherish his time in the NBA, after retiring from the league, having a great family should be a top priority for him. And the Dubs superstar has certainly achieved this with his wife, Ayesha Curry. Ayesha and Steph have great chemistry, and the couple has given some very hilarious moments to fans over the years.

Stephen Curry And Ayesha Curry’s Relationship Started On The Wrong Foot

Looking at Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry now, it looks like they are made for each other. The couple even celebrated their 11-year anniversary last year in great fashion.

But Ayesha Curry once revealed that when Steph tried to kiss her the very first time, it was awkward. She explained the situation well and simply didn’t read the situation well.

(Starts at 0:38)

“I mean, it was friend vibes … until I dodged his first kiss. He was in mid-conversation and came flying at my face like a thief in the night. So I was like, No. Then I thought, “Oh, I didn’t know this is what was happening.”

For someone who is considered the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry certainly missed a huge shot at first (sorry for the pun, Steph), but he surely didn’t miss the next time. Ayesha gave Stephen a second chance, and it worked out for the best for both of them.
