There is no denying that Kobe Bryant is the greatest Los Angeles Laker in history. Kobe played his entire career with the Lakers.

And in his 20-year stint with the franchise, he took them to 7 NBA Finals, winning 5 NBA championships, 2 Finals MVPs, and a regular-season MVP with them. Bryant’s retirement in 2016 was a historic day, as the greatest Laker ever walked away from the Staples Center for the last time.

One of the biggest Los Angeles Lakers fans in the world is none other than legendary West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg. Snoop was in the building when Kobe retired, and after Kobe finished his career, Snoop Dogg gave him an incredible gift; a customized low-rider with images from his greatest moments in the purple and gold.

During a recent appearance on the ImPaulsive podcast with Logan Paul, Snoop Dogg talked about how privileged he feels that he was able to give Kobe Bryant his flowers before his unfortunate passing in 2020.

He talked about giving Kobe the low-rider, and Kobe flying out to meet him. He also shared that Kobe gave his son business advice that he was able to use quite effectively. Snoop shared a lot of appreciation for Bryant while sharing his experience (31:57 onwards).

“I was able to give him (Kobe) his flowers. I had Kobe, after he retired, come over to my compound. I gave him a low-rider car that I had made for him. And he came, and he spent time with my family and my friends. He even gave my son some great information on business and life, which I see him putting into effect now. That was a treasured moment that I had him fly to come see me, and me give him his flowers, and for him to take the car home. And they still have the car to this day.”

Snoop touched on a number of other topics during his interview, including wanting to emulate Shaq’s success in the business world. He also gave his own personal rankings for the GOAT debate, putting Magic Johnson above Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Snoop also talked about wanting to meet Michael Jordan, even reminiscing about how he turned down a $2 million DJ gig which he regrets because he could have met Michael Jordan.

Snoop is a massive Lakers fan, so it comes as no surprise that Kobe Bryant meant a lot to him. Snoop Dogg cherishes the memory he has of giving Kobe the low-rider and spending time with him.
