Dwyane Wade is set to become a Hall Of Famer in 2023, joining the likes of Dirk Nowitzki and Gregg Popovich, among others, to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame

Every inductee is presented to the Hall Of Fame for their enshrinement by another Hall Of Famer. And for Dwyane Wade, that will be none other than the legendary Allen Iverson.

A lot of the other inductees have multiple presenters who will do them the honor, but Dwyane Wade has only one, Allen Iverson. AI was one of Wade’s heroes when he was younger, with the Miami Heat legend revealing that he chose to wear his iconic No. 3 thanks to Iverson.

Allen Iverson himself went into the Hall Of Fame in 2011 in what was one of the most emotional speeches seen in recent years. Dwyane Wade is a 3-time NBA champion, Finals MVP, and a 13-time NBA All-Star, and his induction promises to be just as emotional as Iverson’s was. Someone like LeBron James would have been an option, but the King himself is not retired yet and thus cannot do the honors.
