It looks like Buddy Hield’s got no love for his former team, as he had a crisp NSFW message for the Sacramento Kings.

Hield spent six seasons with the Kings before he was traded to the Indiana Pacers in the middle of last season. Earlier, the sharpshooter had some choice words to say ahead of the Pacers’ game against the Boston Celtics, which they won 117-112.

The Pacers players were doing their usual interviews with the media during the shootaround when the forward had a shocking response during one of his teammate’s interviews.

“Yo Sacramento can suck my d**k!”

Not many saw that coming, but Hield said it, and if he indeed meant it as a joke, safe to say it’s in rather poor taste.

Buddy Hield Trade Rumors: Where Will The Pacers Guard Land?

For the longest time, Buddy Hield and Myles Turner were linked to the Los Angeles Lakers. The biggest rumor was trading Russell Westbrook and the picks to the Pacers in exchange for the duo.

Recent reports suggested that the Lakers were close to finalizing the deal, but team owner Jeanie Buss was reluctant to ship Westbrook.

Hield averaged 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in his six seasons with the Kings. This season, he’s putting up 17.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. From a contract standpoint, he has one more year with Indiana, but chances are he may end up finding a new home before the trade deadline.

On the season front, his former team has been thriving with a 17-13 record in the West, while the Pacers are placed ninth in the East with 16 wins and as many losses.

They play the Miami Heat next. The Kings and the Pacers don’t meet till February 2023, and expect some fireworks between Hield and his former teammates if he’s still part of the Pacers outfit.
