Charles Barkley has taken a shot at Michael Jordan and his tactics to motivate his teammates. According to Chuck, MJ knew how to bully, as we saw in the 8th episode of The Last Dance aired on Sunday.

We got to see the details behind the infamous fight between Michael Jordan and Steve Kerr, as well as the trash talk he used against Scott Burrell. Barkley didn’t hold anything and shared his opinion on that matter during an interview with Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, claiming Jordan knew he could bully certain players because he knew they could take it.

“You know he has selective prosecution over there, right? He knows who to pick on,” Barkley claimed. “There are certain guys you can’t treat like that. Like you have to know what guys you can treat badly and they’re gonna accept it. Screaming at guys all the time, punching guys, come on man, there are certain guys that will whoop the hell out of you if you try doing that. He has selective prosecution. I mean Scott Burrell and Steve Kerr. I mean, come on man.”

Perhaps Barkley has a valid point there, but that’s not what Jordan’s teammates believe. Now that time has happened, Kerr and Burrell had nothing but good things to say about Jordan and the way he used to push them to take their game to the next level.

Chuck’s remarks have created some controversies around the league, with Jalen Rose and Stephen. A Smith reaction to his words. During Tuesday’s edition of ESPN’s ‘Get Up’, Rose said that Jordan was an ‘equal-opportunity employer’ since MJ didn’t give privileges to anybody and treated everybody the same way, regardless of your position in the franchise.

Stephen A. Smith agreed with Rose, claiming Barkley ‘knows better’, recalling that Jordan was in Scottie Pippen’s face challenging when the latter needed that. MJ uplifted that team, taking it from an irrelevant franchise to the biggest squad in the association.

Chuck has been very active talking about Jordan in recent times and that doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
