The 38-year-old NBA veteran Chris Paul was recently traded to the Golden State Warriors for Jordan Poole and future draft picks.
CP3 will be coached by Steve Kerr, who has led the Warriors to four NBA Championships. Back in 2018, Paul’s Houston Rockets were handed a 116-108 defeat by Kerr’s Golden State Warriors. It’s hilarious to think that Paul once shared a deep rivalry with Kerr and the Warriors. In the 2023-24 NBA season, he’ll need to put away the differences and focus on winning the title.
Paul recently admitted that the 2017-18 Rockets’ only goal was to defeat the Warriors in the playoffs. To be honest, they came close to achieving their goal by pushing the Dubs to seven games in the 2018 Western Conference Finals.
Unfortunately, behind a historic choke job in which the Rockets missed 27 consecutive three-pointers in Game 7, the Rockets were eliminated.

Chris Paul averaged 13.9 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 8.9 APG during the 2022-23 regular season. The 12-time NBA All-Star was initially sent to the Washington Wizards as part of Bradley Beal’s trade to the Phoenix Suns.
