The 2022 NBA free agency could be one to remember, given all the moves we could see between teams. Even though we don't have high-profile names testing the waters of the free markets, we could see some trades happening and shocking the entire NBA world.

After Kyrie Irving had an impasse with the Brooklyn Nets earlier this week, many reports have surfaced explaining what could happen to the veteran point guard. Irving's decision with the Nets could have huge ramifications, as Kevin Durant could also look for the exit if his friend leaves.

NBA teams are getting ready for the possibility of Durant being available in trade talks, and the Portland Trail Blazers are one of them. Well, the recruitment process has already started with Damian Lillard giving fans a glimpse of what could be a terrific duo of himself and Kevin Durant.

The former Rookie of the Year took to Instagram to share an edit of himself with Kevin Durant on red Portland Trail Blazers jerseys.

Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard

This is a very interesting move from Lillard, who has been recruited by other stars in the past. After committing to the Blazers, Dame is ready to be the one that brings other stars to Moda Center.

Portland recently traded for Jerami Grant in a move that most people think was free for them. If they could add another piece in Kevin Durant, that team would be instant contenders for the championship next season.

Nobody saw this coming, but it could be a great move for KD, Lillard, and the Blazers. However, if KD is available, the fight will be incredibly hard, as other teams like the Miami Heat could make a run for KD's services and ruin Portland's plans to create a Big 3 with Lillard and Grant.
