Dillon Brooks is invested in his back-and-forth with Russell Westbrook after they had a tense moment during a recent Los Angeles Clippers vs. Memphis Grizzlies game, with Russ taking some shots at Brooks.

However, the Grizzlies’ swingman had symbolic revenge in their next matchup, and didn’t hesitate to call out Westbrook.

“Last game some clown stuff… Yeah [I had this one tonight]. [He] had four points tonight,” Brooks said after the game.

Brooks has engaged in big duels recently, mostly because of his outgoing personality on the court and the fact that he tries to mess with other people. In the past, he was involved in controversies with James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, and Draymond Green

The Grizzlies have become the villains of the NBA and Brooks has played a big role in that. However, not every time he tries to get at somebody people fold, and Westbrook proved that.

Russell Westbrook Called Dillon Brooks ‘Trash’ In Prior Matchup

During their first showdown, Brodie yelled ‘trash’ at Brooks as he got ready to take some free throws. This was big and many people celebrated watching Russ stand again Brooks, who tries to be a bully against others.

The Grizzlies and Clippers could clash in the postseason this year in a duel that would be box office. These two squads have a lot of talent and desire to win the championship. A potential matchup would do a lot for the league if the rivalry between Brooks and Westbrook keeps getting better.

The first duel between these two was a win for the Clippers, with Westbrook having an impressive performance, dropping 36 points, grabbing 4 rebounds and dishing 10 assists. Brooks responded with 30 points but it wasn’t enough.

However, in the following match, the Grizzlies had the last laugh, winning the game and holding Westbrook to just 4 points. Brooks scored 12 but still left the arena with the W.
