Jimmy Butler is one of the best basketball players in the world and has put himself in the running for one of the greatest postseason players of all time by bringing the Heat to the verge of their second NBA Finals appearance during his time with the squad.

The Heat are blowing the Celtics out of Game 3 to take a likely unbeatable 3-0 lead in the series. During the game, Jimmy Butler decided to taunt Al Horford by asking the Celtics to take a timeout, something Horford had done to the Heat in Game 1.

Jimmy hit the celebration during the third quarter after Gabe Vincent hit a three to put the Heat up 23 points. The Celtics look completely deflated and have subbed out their starters in the fourth quarter after staring down a 30-point lead and an inevitable 3-0 deficit.

Jayson Tatum subbed out of the game with 14 points on the night and Jaylen Brown added 12 of his own, as the pair combined to shoot 12-35 from the field and 1-14 from three. Butler only had 16 points, as role players like Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin stepped up, with Vincent scoring 29 points and Caleb adding 18.

Miami Looking Ready For The NBA Finals

The Miami Heat are just one win away from the NBA Finals. Despite the danger this Celtics team provides on paper, they look absolutely defeated on the court. They stopped putting up a fight in Game 3 and couldn’t contend with the Heat’s relentless pressure on both ends of the ball. This will make Miami the second eighth seed in NBA history to make it to the NBA Finals, after the 1999 New York Knicks.

Job’s not finished and the Heat will look to sweep Boston by winning Game 4 on their home floor. This series loss will likely cause the Celtics to rethink their current roster and staff, with Joe Mazzulla’s strong regular season being made completely null and void by Erik Spoelstra coaching circles around him in the playoffs.
