John Wall: ‘I’m Gonna Be Better Than What I Was Before And That’s The Scary Part… They Ain’t Even Get The Best Of John Wall Yet.’

Not so long ago, John Wall was considered a rising star in the league. He wasn’t quite at the top but it felt like he was poised to become an elite point guard that could finally turn the Washington Wizards around.

However, his attitude made it seem like he didn’t really care that much to begin with and that he was happy by just being paid and play the game. Winning seemed optional on a team that hadn’t developed a positive culture in quite a bit.

But, now that he’s spent more than a year in the sidelines, Wall looks eager to prove all of his doubters wrong and demonstrate that he’s still got enough left in the tank to be one of the best players in the league.

So, he addressed the situation of his rehabilitation and dared everybody to keep on doubting him, as he was just going shock the world because he was going to come back better than ever:

“I’m gonna be better than what I was before and that’s the scary part…they ain’t even get the best of John Wall yet. I can’t wait to show them what I got,” the former 1st overall pick claimed.

Wall hasn’t suited up since December 26th, 2018 after deciding to undergo season-ending injury with his Wizards apparently out of the playoff picture.

His career averages of 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game are living proof that he could be an elite two-way player if the league when motivated. Thus, the Wizards need to put all the rumors about his so-called feud with Bradley Beal aside and try to surround them with enough talent to thrive in the East.

He’s going to be 30 when he comes back to the league so the window is closing on him to become the cornerstone of a Championship team.
