Kendrick Perkins On LeBron James And Isaiah Stewart’s Suspension: “This Is Fair Both Ways!!!”

3 Min Read

The brawl between LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart made it to the headlines everywhere around the world. While the Los Angeles Lakers won the fixture against the Detroit Pistons, the ejection of LeBron was still a concern for the franchise.

With the team struggling to win games, losing their main player and leader mid-game is not a good sign. As a result, most were worried about how long the King will be suspended following his outburst against Stewart.

It was earlier revealed that James will have to sit out one game and Stewart for two games for their participation in the altercation. The suspension of the players received mixed feedback from NBA analysts and fans.

Some believe that the players should have been suspended for a longer period of time. On the other hand, some people the decision was accurate and apt according to the fight between the two players.

NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins tweeted about the decision and was in favor of the decision made by the league. He tweeted:

“This is fair both ways!!! Carry the hell on…”

It is true that James might have inflicted more damage on Stewart, but the Pistons center further exaggerated the fight. Keeping that in mind, he was suspended for one more game than the Lakers superstar.

Additionally, it was later revealed that LeBron even tried to apologize for his outburst on the court. But as you might have already guessed, Stewart was not interested in that. Instead, it felt like he wanted to square up with James.

Isaiah was also trolled by fans when a video of him breaking tackles like a football player surfaced.

As things stand right now, there will certainly be some bad blood between the two players and the teams as well. The Lakers vs. Pistons’ next matchup is scheduled to take place on November 28, 2021.

Before the upcoming Pistons’ matchup, the Lakers are facing off against the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers, and Sacramento Kings. This will be a perfect chance for the organization to make a comeback and improve its record. Currently, the Lakers have a 9-9 record and sit in the ninth spot in the Western Conference.
