Kobe Bryant was one of the fiercest competitors in NBA history. Bryant was always striving to win, in whatever way possible. It was this mindset that brought him so much success during his time in the league.

Bryant won 5 NBA championships during his historic 20-year career, becoming one of the most decorated NBA players in history.

Kobe is one of the most revered figures in the game because of his winning mentality, and how he would never give up.

Bryant expected the best from himself and everyone around him. So when he walked away from the game in 2016, he brought this mentality to all walks of life.

Bryant was able to find great success outside of the sport because of this mentality. In 2018, Kobe Bryant won an Oscar for his animated short film ‘Dear Basketball’.

But without a doubt, Bryant’s most treasured accomplishment was mentoring his daughter’s basketball team.

Bryant was a proud ‘GirlDad’. So he took the idea of coaching his daughter Gianna’s basketball team very seriously. Gigi wanted to play basketball like her father, so she joined a local team in Los Angeles.

In fact, he showed his impact on the team quite well. At one point, the team defeated another local team 115-27, a massive victory.

Bryant posted a picture of the team celebrating, noting in the caption that the same team they beat had defeated them 22-21 two years ago. So this victory was not only a statement but an act of revenge for the Mambas.

Kobe always had a winning mentality. And the victory for his daughter’s team shows that he passed that mentality on to them. The fact that they scored 115 points just two years after losing to a young team just shows the impact he had on the team.
