The Miami Heat couldn’t beat the Denver Nuggets for the second consecutive game, losing both matches at home and going down to 3-1 in the 2023 NBA Finals.

Even though they’re in a complex position, Kyle Lowry still believes they can get the job done and told Brazilian soccer superstar Neymar that the Heat will be back in Miami for Game 6.

“We’ll be back for Game 6,” he said, per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. “We’ll see you then.”

The Floridian team tried hard to beat Nikola Jokic and co., but it wasn’t enough as the Nuggets once again took over in the third quarter, which marked the difference in the final outcome of the game.

Lowry was playing great during the first quarter, but he vanished little by little, leaving his team helpless. On the other side, Nuggets’ role players showed up and didn’t run away from the moment, leading the squad to a big win that put them closer to the goal: to win the NBA championship.

Aaron Gordon finished the night with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, while Bruce Brown added 21 points, including a step-back three that Nikola Jokic didn’t approve.

The Joker contributed 23 points, to go along with 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Jamal Murray didn’t have the best night at scoring, but he dished 12 rebounds while recording zero turnovers in 43 minutes of action.

The Miami Heat Are Still Confident Despite Being 3-1 Down

With the Nuggets playing at this level, it’ll be hard for Miami to even think about getting one more win. Still, Lowry promised Neymar they would be back soon, and Jimmy Butler has shared the same sentiment, saying that they can win three games in a row.

Erik Spoelstra also warned the Nuggets about what’s coming for them, saying that Miami is set to return home for Game 6. Everybody appears to be on the same page now, but it may be too late for the Heat.

Denver knows the job is not done, but right now, it looks really hard to see them crumbling and losing this series. After 56 years of existence, the Nuggets are about to win their first NBA championship ever.
