Kyrie Irving was present courtside during the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Memphis Grizzlies’ Game 6 matchup in the first round of the playoffs.
Kai shared a moment with LeBron James on the court, which went viral. The two were seen dapping each other, and NBA fans loved it. Another picture that received a lot of love from fans was Kyrie and his daughter. The Dallas Mavericks superstar also posted a couple of those images on his official Instagram account.
“The next Generation of A11Even. Princess Azurie.”
Irving gave a fitting caption to the post, as his daughter was indeed looking like a princess. Kai’s daughter is currently seven years old, and fans may see her more in arenas to support her father or, in general, enjoy the game of basketball.
The Los Angeles Lakers Could Sign Kyrie Irving This Summer
Kyrie Irving hasn’t even played a full season with the Dallas Mavericks since getting traded to the team earlier this season. But there are already rumors about the 2016 NBA champion potentially leaving the organization this summer.
One of the top contenders to sign Kyrie, who is now an unrestricted free agent, are the Los Angeles Lakers. While many believe that Irving is no longer on the radar of the Lakers, an NBA executive feels otherwise.
“They’ve got to look at this as, OK, how many years does LeBron have, and how many years can they actually keep Anthony Davis engaged? Because AD ain’t got any great love for this game. So their window is a short one. Do they go after the superteam piece and figure out how to bring Kyrie in there? You know damn well Kyrie is not coming in for a discount,” said the exec. “So do you stay the course and stick with D-Lo (Russell) and Rui and all of that group and say, ‘OK, let’s play with the two stars and try and have some reasonable depth’? I predict that they’ll try to figure out a way to pay Kyrie Irving and bring him in.”
Irving was heavily linked with the Lakers this past summer as well, but the move never became a reality. Now, these rumors are catching fire again, with the Mavericks having a disappointing regular season with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving as teammates.
